Installation

Jemeti OS is fully hosted — there is nothing to install. You sign up, pick your workshop's subdomain, and you're ready to work in the browser from any desktop or phone.

1. Create your workspace

Every workshop is its own tenant on its own subdomain — yourgarage.jemeti.com. The signup flow sets up:

  1. Account — your name, email, and password.
  2. Workspace — your subdomain (the URL you'll log into) and your shop name (what customers see on your documents).
  3. Plan — every tier carries a 14-day trial. Pick the tier that matches your shop size (see Plans & Quotas) and complete checkout. Your workspace provisions immediately.

2. Log in for the first time

Log in at <your-workspace>.jemeti.com. You'll land on the Dashboard — today's revenue, pending invoices, low-stock SKUs, open purchase orders, vehicles in service, bay activity, and your top mechanics, all at a glance. The sidebar shows your own logo and shop name (from Settings → Branding).

The sidebar footer shows the live plan chip and remaining storage — your usage meters are always visible.

3. Add your team

Invite staff from User & Role → Users (invite by email, name, and role). Each invitee gets a one-time link to set their password.

Jemeti OS ships with system roles — owner, admin, manager, mechanic, staff, viewer — and a permissions matrix for building custom roles. Mechanics can't see revenue; cashiers can't edit customers. See Permissions & Roles.

4. Configure the basics

Before your first sale or job, set up:

  • Bays — Workshop → Bays. One entry per physical lift or work area, with a name and base power (kW). Active bays count against your plan quota.
  • Service catalog — Workshop → Services. Your services with duration, labor hours, tax %, and charge (৳).
  • Payment accounts — Accounting → Payment Accounts. Register your cash register, bank account, and bKash/Nagad wallets — these become the payment methods in the POS and on invoices.
  • Products & categories — Inventory → Products and Categories. Categories carry a tax rate that auto-applies at the counter.
  • Branding & documents — Settings → Workspace (logo, brand color, TIN, BIN) and Settings → Document Templates (Invoice, Challan, Gate Pass, Receipt, Payslip, Quotation, DVI Report, Job Card — each with QR payment cards).

5. Add your first customer and vehicle

Go to CRM → Customers and add a customer with their contact number — the phone number is the key identity. Then add their vehicle under Vehicles → Fleet (plate, year, make/model, type). With customers and vehicles in place, you're ready for your first job or sale.
