Platform & Settings

Routes: /settings (Workspace: General / Branding / Identity / Danger zone), /settings/document-templates, /settings/billing, /settings/profile, /user-role (hub), /user-role/users, /user-role/roles, /account/upgrade.

The paperwork is the brand. This module puts your own logo, color, TIN, and BIN on every invoice, challan, and payslip — and keeps the staff honest with role-based logins where the mechanic never sees the revenue numbers.

Workspace settings (/settings)​

  • General — company name, phone, timezone (e.g. Asia/Dhaka), address. Reports and reminders follow your shop's day, not some server's UTC.
  • Branding — logo upload (JPG/PNG/WEBP, 2 MB), brand color (used in invite emails, UI accents, and printable documents), shop email/website, TIN (printed on the document footer), and Business Registration number (BIN).
  • Identity (read-only; changed by support): your subdomain and country. Each workshop is a tenant with its own subdomain — yourgarage.jemeti.com — and its own data.
  • Danger zone — deactivate the workshop (soft-delete, revoke users, deprovision the subdomain).

Document Templates​

/settings/document-templates is a live editor with EDITOR / PREVIEW panes and PRINT PREVIEW, covering eight document types:

Invoice · Challan · Gate Pass · Receipt · Payslip · Quotation · DVI Report · Job Card

Per document type you control:

  • Header size (Small/Medium/Large) and date format (YYYY-MM-DD / DD MMM YYYY / MMM DD, YYYY / DD/MM/YYYY).
  • Payment notes rendered above the payment grid (e.g. "Please pay by the 7th").
  • Payment method cards — add multiple methods, each with a name, QR code (URL or data URL), account/wallet number, account holder, bank/institution, branch. Configure bKash/Nagad/bank cards once; every invoice and receipt prints them with QR codes customers can scan.

Challan and Gate Pass are documents workshops literally hand-write today — here they print on your branded letterhead.

Users & Roles (/user-role)​

  • Users: invite by email, name, role, active status.
  • Roles: system roles out of the box — owner and admin (all permissions), manager (roles:read, invite:write, users:read), mechanic and staff (users:read), and viewer (none) — plus custom roles built on a granular permission matrix.
  • Permission keys are fine-grained, e.g. sales:discount, sales:payment, appointments:write, customer_notes:read, odometer:write, vehicle_images:write, audit:read. See Permissions & Roles for the full model.

The upshot: your cashier can take payments and give discounts, but can't see your P&L or delete customers — and sensitive actions land in an audit log.

Billing & quotas (/settings/billing)​

  • Plan card: plan name, status, trial, renewal.
  • Usage meters for the billing period: bays active, jobs created, storage, active users. The same meters surface on the sidebar ("Plan · active · solo · storage") and as a red dashboard banner with an upgrade link when a limit is hit.

My Profile (/settings/profile)​

Personal info, email change with verification link, and password change.

Small things you'll use daily​

  • Dark mode toggle in the sidebar.
  • Personalized header with a live clock ("Good evening, …").
  • Dashboard global search, Customize, and Refresh.
